In a context of high competitiveness and shortage of resources, creating sustainable business
models is crucial for organizations that seek to stand out and have longevity in the market. Such
an ideal must be present in everything that involves the company, including its processes and
products. This article aims to reflect on the power of adopting the Strategic Design approach in
the creation and application of business models based on local products – which are important
engines for the economic development of their regions. For this, a bibliographic review was carried out and a case study was analyzed. Strategic Design, as a project approach that aims to
design Product-Service Systems based on sustainability and aligned to a well-defined organizational strategy, has presented itself as a resource with high potential to assist in the
consolidation of sustainable business models and their application in everything that an organization aims to do and communicate.

This article aims to elucidate the aspects of Biomimetics, discussing its most current methodology
(Biomimicry DesignLens); As well as to make known the biomimetic examples of the conceptual
pavilions developed by the University of Stuttgart, created with the purpose of testing new space
systems through constructive modules that allow a high degree of adaptability and performance due
to the geometric differentiation of its components, using for this, innovative manufacturing
computational processes to test, simulate and apply, including through the use of articulated robotic
arms. It is observed that the inspiration for the configuration of these modules is based on references of the nature, collaborating so that the use of this methodology is translated as a viable
solution to promote a sustainable design, since the solutions of the natural world, either through shapes or processes, are always based on resource efficiency.

This article aims to make an analysis of the glasses model ZEQ . IPÊ + P. PINK from
Zerezes brand, and see if it presents itself as a sustainable product. The research took
place in bibliographic principles and then the product was applied the methodology to
check if the steps of the manufacturing process fit into sustainable cycles. The analyzed
glasses model is highlighted by the use of renewably sourced materials, you can also
see the concern with the concepts in sustainability, such as reducing and reusing. The lack of details on the production process of the glasses and later stages of evaluation analysis gave an empirical character.

Brazil has an average of 250 sunny days, is a tropical country, and unfortunately it uses very little
solar energy for both heating water, and for the cooking of foods with the solar cooker. This article
proposes to sustainability in the design of panel solar cookers easy to perform, taking advantage of
junk, like cardboard, with alternatives of reflective material such as aluminum foil and reflective
films found in the market. The reflective fixation can be made with cooked paste or other type of
adhesive available on the market. The disclosure of the benefits of solar cooking will be through
popular workshops construction of solar cookers and cooking foods such as breads, cakes and
basic culinary dishes to poor communities.
