Os profissionais que atuam nas escolas de ensino regular com os alunos da Educação Especial na rede estadual de Santa Catarina

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem por objeto de estudo os profissionais que atuam nas escolas de ensino regular com os alunos da educação especial da rede estadual de Santa Catarina. Busca identificar os cargos que exercem, os locais de atuação, as condições de trabalho de que dispõem e sua formação. Para tanto, definiu-se por trabalhar com documentos representativos da política estadual de educação especial de Santa Catarina e tomou-se como campo empírico uma escola da rede estadual no município de Florianópolis. Este trabalho apresenta um breve histórico acerca da Educação Especial, modalidade que perpassa todos os níveis, etapas e outras modalidades, sem a função de substituir o ensino regular. Busca focar e identificar, através das políticas de educação especial do estado, como esta se desenvolveu, tendo como objeto de estudo os profissionais da rede regular de ensino do estado de Santa Catarina no município de Florianópolis que atuam com alunos deficientes. Busca, também identificar quais são os profissionais, onde atuam, quais condições de trabalho dispõem e qual a sua formação, com o objetivo de caracterizar e conhecer quem é esse profissional. Parte de uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando como procedimentos a análise documental, o referencial teórico e uma pesquisa de campo. Conclui apresentando que os profissionais da educação especial nem sempre são sujeitos preparados e com condições efetivas de trabalho para atuarem com alunos deficientes.

This study's purpose is to study the professionals working in mainstream schools with special education students from the state of Santa Catarina. Searching identify their roles, places of work, working conditions they have and their formation. Therefore, it was decided to work with documents representing the state policy of special education in Santa Catarina and was taken as empirical field one state school in Florianópolis. This paper shows a brief history about the Special Education modality that permeates all levels, stages and other modalities, without the function of replacing the regular school. It concludes with the special education professionals are not always prepared and subjected to conditions effective work to work with disabled students.
