Análise econômica de medidas de eficiência energética em um prédio histórico de Florianópolis, de acordo com a nova etiquetagem comercial Procel Edifica

Abstract

Como forma de incentivar o uso de edifícios históricos, este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar a classificação de eficiência energética de um edifício histórico e propor medidas de aumento de eficiência energética. O edifício analisado, a Casa de Câmara e Cadeia de Florianópolis, teve a envoltória e o sistema de iluminação classificados de acordo com os métodos simplificado e de simulação computacional da nova etiquetagem de edifícios comerciais do PBE Edifica. Por meio do método simplificado, foi verificado que o edifício tem a classificação D de eficiência energética para a envoltória e A para a iluminação. Considerando que as paredes externas do edifício não atendem ao limite superior de capacidade térmica para a classificação da envoltória pelo método simplificado, foi realizada a simulação computacional, e verificou-se que a envoltória permaneceu na classe D de eficiência energética. Posteriormente, foram verificadas medidas de eficiência energética que reduzissem o consumo do edifício. Foram inseridas no método simplificado as medidas de substituição das lâmpadas fluorescentes por lâmpadas LED, a troca dos vidros simples por laminados e o isolamento térmico da cobertura. A composição dessas três medidas garantiu uma carga térmica de refrigeração em torno de 15% menor do que o caso base. No entanto, somente a medida de troca das lâmpadas e a composição dessa troca com o isolamento da cobertura apresentaram viabilidade econômica para a implantação.

In order to encourage the use of historic buildings, the purpose of this work is to classify the energy efficiency of a historic building and to propose energy efficiency solutions. The envelope and the lighting system of the “Casa de Câmara e Cadeia”, situated in Florianopolis, were classified according to the new Brazilian labeling regulation for commercial buildings. Using the simplified method, the building envelope obtained the energy class D and the lighting system, the energy class A. Considering that the external walls did not comply with the superior limits of the simplified method for the thermal capacity, the computer simulation were done, and with the results the envelope remained in the same energy class. Afterwards, some energy efficiency solutions have been tested in order to lower the building energy consumption. The following solutions have been inserted in the simplified method: the substitution of the fluorescent lights for LED lights, the substitution of the simple glazing for laminated glazing and the roofing thermal insulation. A composition of these three solutions caused a 15% reduction in the refrigeration thermal loads, in comparison with the basis case. However, only the change of fluorescent LED lighting and the composition of this change with the roofing insulation were economically viable.
