"A revolução vem do pastinho": escrevivências antropológicas sobre vozes negras em Florianópolis-SC

Abstract

Com essa dissertação busco apreender, através das vivências e experiências dos residentes do Pastinho, localizado próximo à cumeeira do Morro da Caixa/Monte Serrat, em Florianópolis-SC, o protagonismo da população negra, sobretudo das mulheres, para pautar suas formas de resistência diante das práticas discursivas que negam a presença e contribuições negras no contexto histórico do município, bem como dos estereótipos negativos relacionados ao fenótipo negro. A comunidade em foco, sendo uma das mais antigas do município, é, também, uma das mais atuantes no pleito por melhores condições condições de vida e na valorização da identidade negra local. O lugar é reconhecido pelos moradores como Quilombo urbano, não somente pelo grande contingente negro, mas por sua trajetória diretamente relacionada a história dessa população. A presença das mulheres, em diversos âmbitos desse território, lhe confere também o predicado de Morro feminino, exigindo uma análise interseccional de raça e gênero na pesquisa. Com isso, procuro compreender, a dinâmica da atuação comunitária e a elaboração da concepção de pertença étnico-racial como estratégias de resistência que contribuem para a sobrevivência e subsistência coletiva.

Abstract : I aim to learn from this dissertation through the experiences and existences of the residents of Pastinho, which takes place near the ridge of Morro da Caixa/Monte Serrat in Florianópolis, capital city of the state of Santa Catarina the central role of the blacks, especially of black women, in order to list how they resist the discursive practices which deny the presence and contributions of the blacks in the historical context of the municipality, as well as the negative stereotypes related to the black phenotype. Being one of the oldest in the municipality; the community I focus on is also one of the most actives on the plea for better living conditions and on the promotion of the local black identity. The residents know the place as an Urban Quilombo, not only for the great number of blacks, but also for its record of accomplishment directly related to the history of this population. The presence of those women, in several fields of this territory, is the reason why it is known as Female Hill as well, requiring an intersectional analysis of race and gender in this research. Thus, I seek to understand how the community action dynamic and the establishment of the concept of ethnic-racial belonging as strategies of resistance that contribute to the collective survival and subsistence.
