O idealismo transcendental como fenomenologia em Husserl

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar o sentido do idealismo transcendental assumido por Husserl como idêntico à sua Fenomenologia. A partir da constatação de uma variada gama de posições adscritas a Husserl na tradição de comentários sobre seu idealismo, buscamos encontrar uma via de leitura que escapasse às dificuldades que tais interpretações enfrentam quando cotejadas com os textos husserlianos, ao mesmo tempo em que pudesse se coadunar com a letra de Husserl. Para tanto, procuramos, num primeiro momento, reconstruir o horizonte próprio de sentido que condiciona a emergência do idealismo fenomenológicotranscendental como resposta a um problema filosófico específico, a saber, o da possibilidade do conhecimento. Nesse estágio de nosso itinerário, os textos mais relevantes foram os dos cursos do período do ?giro transcendental?, Introdução à Lógica e à Teoria do conhecimento, de 1906/07, e A Ideia da Fenomenologia, de 1907. Num segundo passo, detivemo-nos na análise da ?Consideração fenomenológica fundamental? da obra fundante da Fenomenologia em seu registro propriamente transcendental, as Ideias para uma Fenomenologia pura e para uma Filosofia fenomenológica. Este texto, responsável por instaurar as teses fundantes do idealismo husserliano, mostrou-se como o local privilegiado para desemaranhá-lo daquilo que constitui o cerne das disputas entre as interpretações aludidas ? se ele se deixaria traduzir ou não em alguma tese de ordem metafísica. Em Ideias, assim como nos textos dedicados ao tema do idealismo reunidos no volume Transzendentaler Idealismus da Husserliana, podemos testemunhar a irrupção de um idealismo legitimamente fenomenológico, traço inalienável que lhe permite passar ao largo das leituras tradicionais, ao mesmo tempo tornando mais compreensíveis, a nosso ver, várias das afirmações de Husserl que caracterizam sua posição.

Abstract: This research aims to investigate the meaning of transcendental idealism assumed by Husserl as identical to his Phenomenology. Based on the acknowledgement of a wide range of positions ascribed to Husserl in the tradition of commentaries on his idealism, we sought to find a way of reading it that would escape the difficulties that such interpretations face when compared with the Husserlian texts, while at the same time being able to fit altogether with Husserl?s assumptions. In order to accomplish this goal, we sought, at first, to reconstruct the proper horizon of meaning that conditions the emergence of transcendental-phenomenological idealism as a response to a specific philosophical problem, namely, the problem of the possibility of knowledge. At this stage of our itinerary, the most relevant texts were the courses from the ?transcendental turn? period, Introduction to Logic and Theory of Knowledge, from 1906/07, and The Idea of Phenomenology, from 1907. Secondly, we concentrate on the analysis of the ?Fundamental Phenomenological Consideration? of the founding work of Phenomenology in its proper transcendental level, Ideas for a Pure Phenomenology and for a Phenomenological Philosophy. This text, responsible for establishing the founding theses of Husserlian idealism, proved to be the privileged spot to unravel it from what constitutes the core of the disputes between the aforementioned interpretations ? whether or not it could be translated into some sort of metaphysical thesis. In Ideas, as well as in the texts dedicated to the theme of idealism gathered in the volume Transzendentaler Idealismus from the Husserliana series, we can witness an eruption of an idealism that is legitimately phenomenological, an inalienable trait that allows it to bypass traditional readings, while making more understandable several of Husserl?s statements that characterize his position.
