O ativismo gordo: da militância à autoetnografia, da voz à educação

Abstract

A presente investigação tem como objetivo analisar, por meio da autoetnografia, o estigma da gordofobia através das especificidades do ativismo gordo, articulados por meio das redes sociais, para um olhar pedagógico de transformação social. Para tal, são utilizados os estudos relacionados à Mídia-Educação e a perspectiva de Educação Ativista e Pedagogia Engajada, baseadas em Andrea Lapa e Nelson Pretto, Paulo Freire e bell hooks. O tripé educação, mídia-educação e ativismos é direcionado pelo percurso autoral e pela observação participante, estabelecendo definições de estigma, com base em Erving Goffman, e sociologia da obesidade, com base em Jean-Pierre Poulain. Também estão presentes os conceitos relacionados à polifonia de Mikhail Bakhtin, aos sujeitos da ação educativa de Miguel Arroyo e a biopolítica de Michel Foucault. Estão alicerçados neste trabalho, as teses, dissertações e produções literárias da vanguarda do ativismo gordo no Brasil, representada por Maria Luísa Jimenez-Jimenez, Agnes Arruda, Fernanda Magalhães, Denise Bernuzzi de Sant?Anna, Patrícia Nechar, Natália Rangel e Natália Figueiroa. Também é desafio dessa pesquisa falar do corpo gordo e suas associações em redes sociotécnicas, com base na Teoria Ator-Rede de Bruno Latour, e interfaces com o campo da Educação, constituindo uma voz militante transformadora. Neste percurso, faz parte deste objetivo a colaboração para a construção do campo do saber denominado Pesquisa Gorda por meio de suas vozes múltiplas, actantes e entrelaçadas. A partir da relação tridimensional aqui proposta, pretende-se oferecer reflexões sobre como a militância, a partir de um olhar educador ativista, pode ensinar a sentir, interpretar, resistir, produzir afetações e conhecimentos.

Abstract: The present investigation aims to analyze, through autoethnography, the stigma of fatphobia through the specifics of fat activism, articulated through social networks, for a pedagogical look at social transformation. To this end, studies related to Media-Education and the perspective of Activist Education and Engaged Pedagogy are used, based on Andrea Lapa and Nelson Pretto, Paulo Freire and bell hooks. The tripod education, media-education and activism is guided by the authorial path and by participant observation, establishing definitions of stigma, based on Erving Goffman, and the sociology of obesity, based on Jean-Pierre Poulain. Concepts related to Mikhail Bakhtin's polyphony, Miguel Arroyo's subjects of educational action and Michel Foucault's biopolitics are also present. Based on this work, the theses, dissertations and literary productions of the avant-garde of fat activism in Brazil, represented by Maria Luísa Jimenez, Agnes Arruda, Fernanda Magalhães, Denise Bernuzzi de Sant?Anna, Patrícia Nechar, Natália Rangel and Natália Figueiroa. It is also a challenge of this research to talk about the fat body and its associations in sociotechnical networks, based on Bruno Latour's Actor-Network Theory, and interfaces with the field of Education, constituting a transforming militant voice. In this path, part of this objective is the collaboration for the construction of the field of knowledge called Pesquisa Gorda through its multiple, actant and intertwined voices. From the three-dimensional relationship proposed here, it is intended to offer reflections on how militancy, from an activist educator perspective, can teach how to feel, interpret, resist, produce affectations and knowledge.
