dc.description	The present paper attempts to revise the progression of the theme social equity from the point of view of Design contributions throughout history. It shows some of the key constructs around the concept of social equity and presents some key events that have affected the way we understand social equity nowadays. It concludes with a discussion on a new epistemology of Design regarding the social dimension of sustainability.	pt-BR
