dc.description.abstract The present work deals with the development of a parametric programming to generate a catenary that uses earth as raw material. It describes the technologies for the development of programming, the reason for the choice of materials and the techniques for the construction of the catenary. The goal is to demonstrate that the use of parametric and generative software can be applied to sustainable low cost buildings. Demonstrating that development of a differentiated plastic form in land constructions can be projected from contemporary software, allowing the demystification of the use of technology in self-construction projects. The result obtained is a parametric code developed through the methodology of incremental interactive model. This programming allows different plastic applications and project interpretation, giving the opportunity for the designer and builder to expand their vocabulary of shapes in constructions that use the earth as raw material. pt_BR
