Perspectiva sobre pesquisa em engenharia ferroviária na biblioteca eletrônica científica online

Abstract

Com a evolução do setor ferroviário em transportes, a Engenharia Ferroviária é uma área que já foi destaque no passado, e que necessita crescer para o desenvolvimento e ampliação deste modal de transporte. Neste contexto, para verificar os meios em que a pesquisa científica e tecnológica em Engenharia Ferroviária está sendo socializada na Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), com o objetivo de identificar quantitativamente o crescimento do modal Ferroviário, a referida biblioteca foi selecionada para realizar uma análise bibliométrica a partir da busca de sentenças ou palavras-chave relacionadas ao tema Engenharia Ferroviária. Portanto, motivado por um caráter histórico e de evolução tecnológica, as sentenças escolhidas para o grupo que compõem o veículo são: Trem, Locomotiva, Vagão e Material Rodante; e as que compõem o grupo via são: Estrada de Ferro, Trilho, Dormente e Via Permanente. Com essas sentenças, um octógono com o tema central Engenharia Ferroviária é proposto. Por meio de tabelas, gráficos e indicadores, buscou-se ter conhecimento quantitativo sobre as publicações na biblioteca SciELO. Os resultados obtidos mostram que a maior concentração de publicações está entre os anos de 2015 e 2020. Todavia, 12,5% dos periódicos encontrados são relevantes ao tema Engenharia Ferroviária, sendo Via Permanente a sentença que mais apresentou publicações relevantes à temática do trabalho.

With the evolution of the railway sector in transport, Railway Engineering is an area that has already been highlighted in the past, and which needs to grow for the development and expansion of this mode of transport. In this context, to verify the means in which scientific and technological research in Railway Engineering is being socialized in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), with the objective of quantitatively identifying the growth of the Railway modal, the referred library was selected to carry out an analysis bibliometrics based on the search for sentences or keywords related to the subject of Railway Engineering. Therefore, motivated by a historical character and technological evolution, the sentences chosen for the group that make up the vehicle are: Train, Locomotive, Wagon and Rolling Stock; and those that make up the way group are: Railway, Rail, Dormant and Permanent Way. With these sentences, an octagon with the central theme Railway Engineering is proposed. Through tables, graphs and indicators, we sought to have quantitative knowledge about the publications in the SciELO library. The results obtained show that the highest concentration of publications is between the years 2015 and 2020. However, 12.5% of the journals found are relevant to the subject of Railway Engineering, with Permanent Way being the sentence that most presented publications relevant to the theme of the work.
