ANÁLISE DA GESTÃO E DO TRATAMENTO DOS RESÍDUOS DE CONSTRUÇÃO E DEMOLIÇÃO NA CIDADE DE TRÊS CORAÇÕES – MG

Abstract

A intensa urbanização e industrialização das cidades, em conjunto com o grande adensamento populacional, fizeram que o volume de Resíduo de Construção e Demolição (RCD) gerado crescesse. Este trabalho é um estudo de caso, que trata do tema da gestão dos RCD e que fez o diagnóstico da situação das deposições irregulares de RCD na cidade de Três Corações, em Minas Gerais. Foram mapeados diversos pontos de descarte irregular, a fim de catalogar os locais para monitoramento do tipo de material descartado. Os dados obtidos foram agrupados e analisados. Pode-se observar que há necessidade de políticas públicas com o objetivo de melhorar a gestão dos RCD no município, pois o grande volume de material depositado de forma irregular tem causado prejuízos ao meio ambiente, sendo que a maior parte do volume de material pode ser beneficiado e reutilizado, nos diversos processos da construção civil.

The rise of urbanization and industrialization of cities, plus the great population density produces a huge volume of construction and demolition waste (CDW). The waste generation grows more every day. This work is a case study, dealing with the topic of CDW management and which diagnosed the situation of irregular depositions of CDW in the city of Três Corações, Minas Gerais. Several spots of irregular waste were mapped in order to feature the locations and monitoring the type of material was discarded. The data obtained were grouped and analyzed. It can be seen that there is a need for public policies in order to improve the management of CDW in the municipality, as the large volume of material deposited irregularly has caused damage to the environment, with most of the material can be benefited and reused, in the several processes of civil construction, which would help the sector financially and contribute to the environment.
