This article proposes the use of a low cost parabolic solar collector, fabricated with recyclable
materials allied to more traditional ones, in order to optimize the heating of water for domestic
use. To determine the thermal performance, efficiency values were calculated for series and
parallel arrangements, and different flow rates. The results found in the analyzes and
measurements attested the purpose of the project and its advantages, as well as pointed the needs
for improvement at other parameters. In this context, the materials presented in this work act in a
way to make feasible the execution of systems aimed to capture solar energy from a technical point
of view, of productivity, sustainability, economy and ease of execution. |
