The field of action of designers in the context of contemporary society has allowed designers to experiment with new techniques, equipment technologies and materials. The objective of this work was to investigate the approaches to the use of bamboo in postgraduate scientific research in Brazil. To this end, a systematic literature review was carried out in the Industrial Design area, in the CAPES catalog of theses and dissertations and consulted in the Unesp Institutional Repository, based on the following question: how have master and doctorate design researches approached what design and bamboo? After conducting the searches, 22 papers were selected from the CAPES website and 9 papers from the UNESP institutional repository. The identified gaps confirm the authors' hypothesis that although emerging design and bamboo research is scarce in postgraduate design programs in Brazil, and research using the Kerf Bending technique specifically with bamboo is non-existent. O campo de atuação dos designers no contexto da sociedade contemporânea tem permitido que os designers experimentem novas técnicas, tecnologias de equipamentos e materiais. O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar as abordagens do uso do bambu nas pesquisas científicas em nível de pós-graduação no Brasil. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura na área de Desenho Industrial, no catálogo de teses e dissertações da CAPES e consulta no Repositório Institucional da Unesp, partindo da seguinte indagação: como as pesquisas de design a nível de mestrado e doutorado têm abordado o design e bambu? Após a realização das buscas, foram selecionados 22 trabalhos no site da CAPES e 9 trabalhos no repositório institucional da UNESP. As lacunas identificadas, confirmam a hipótese dos autores, de que pesquisas de design e bambu embora emergentes são escassas nos programas de pós-graduação em design no Brasil e pesquisas utilizando a técnica Kerf Bending em específico com bambu são inexistentes. |
