This research aimed to develop sustainable school furniture for public school students. First, a theoretical investigation was carried out about school dropout in Goiânia, GO, Brazil, defining the target audience (students from the 6th to the 9th grade of the 2nd phase of elementary school), then proceeding the theorization about the theme based on methodologies and pedagogical practices applied to teaching. It was diagnosed the absence of a product that provided students the feeling of belonging to the place and that stimulated them as protagonists of the space. Then, product design methodologies were applied by means of biomimetic analysis, sketches and 3D modeling. As a premise of the study, the product should encompass a sustainable vision, which is included with the use of a renewable material as an alternative to conventional ones, in this case bamboo. As a result of new product innovation, a bamboo table with adjustable height and playful design was reached. It is concluded that the new product, in addition to incorporating sustainable requirements, can resignify and favor the infrastructure of the school space, requiring a minimum amount of material resources to generate more independent and pleasant learning environments. |

O objetivo do trabalho foi o desenvolvimento de mobiliário escolar sustentável, direcionado a alunos de escola pública. Primeiramente, realizou-se investigação teórica sobre a situação da evasão escolar em Goiânia, GO, delimitando-se o público-alvo (alunos do 6º ao 9º ano da 2ª fase do ensino fundamental), para então, proceder a teorização sobre o tema baseando-se em metodologias e prática pedagógicas aplicadas ao ensino. Diagnosticou-se a ausência de um produto que propiciasse aos alunos o sentimento de pertencimento ao lugar e que os estimulassem como protagonistas do espaço. Em seguida, realizou-se a aplicação de metodologias de projeto de produto por meio de análise biônica, biomimética, croquis e modelagem 3D. Como premissa do estudo, o produto deveria abarcar uma visão sustentável, sendo essa incluída com o uso de um material renovável como alternativa aos convencionais, neste caso o bambu. Como resultado de inovação de novo produto, chegou-se a uma mesa em bambu com altura regulável e design lúdico. Conclui-se que o novo produto, além de incorporar requisitos sustentáveis, pode ressignificar e favorecer a infraestrutura do espaço escolar, exigindo mínima quantidade em recursos materiais para a geração de um ambiente de aprendizagem mais independente e agradável. |
