This study aimed to analyze the sustainability of an annual academic event held by the Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana - UNILA based on the sustainability indicators defined in the practical guide for sustainable events in institutions of higher education (LEME; MORTEAN; BRANDÃO, 2014), as well in the (ISO, 2012) considering the economic, social and environmental dimensions. The method used is characterized as exploratory research through a case study and the approach is qualitative. The data were collected from documents, digital publications of the organization and semi-structured interviews to the members of the organizing committee of the event. To organize the data, Atlas.ti software and Microsoft Office Excel were used, categorized based on the “Practical guide for sustainable events in HEI (Higher Education Institutions). Inferences were made using the content analysis method (BARDIN, 2010). The results made it possible to identify, within the scope of sustainable event management, that the “Semana Integrada de Ensino Pesquisa e Extensão - SIEPE obtained a Silver rating in relation to the last event (2019) analyzed, which evidenced the need for make improvements, for which proposals and contributions were made to be implemented in future editions |

Este estudo objetivou analisar a sustentabilidade de um evento acadêmico anual realizado pela Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana – UNILA a partir dos indicadores de sustentabilidade definidos no guia prático para eventos sustentáveis em instituições de educação superior (LEME; MORTEAN; BRANDÃO, 2014), bem como, na (ISO, 2012) considerando as dimensões econômica, social e ambiental. A metodologia é caracterizada como pesquisa exploratória por intermédio de estudo de caso e a abordagem é qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados a partir de documentos, publicações digitais da organização e entrevistas semiestruturadas aos membros da comissão organizadora do evento. Para organização dos dados foi utilizado o software Atlas.ti e o Microsoft Office Excel, categorizados a partir do “Guia prático para eventos sustentáveis em IES”. As inferências foram realizadas por meio do método de análise de conteúdo (BARDIN, 2011). Os resultados permitiram identificar no âmbito da gestão sustentável de eventos, que a Semana Integrada de Ensino Pesquisa e Extensão da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana - SIEPE obteve classificação Prata em relação ao último evento analisado (2019), o que evidenciou a necessidade de realizar melhorias, para as quais foram realizadas proposições e contribuições a serem implementadas nas futuras edições. |
