A Intervenção Breve ao dependente químico de álcool pelo enfermeiro: uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem como propósito analisar a técnica terapêutica Intervenção Breve e o enfermeiro enquanto protagonista na assistência ao dependente químico de álcool. Dessa forma, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa, para identificar o cenário das publicações nacionais e internacionais, nas línguas portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola. Com os objetivos de avaliar Intervenção Breve aplicada ao dependente químico de álcool e avaliar Intervenção Breve e atuação do enfermeiro na assistência ao dependente químico de álcool. Buscou-se na literatura científica, nas bases de dados PubMed/Medline, SCOPUS, CINAHL, BVS, SCIELO, EMBASE e Web of Science referente aos anos de 2016 a julho de 2022. Depois de uma análise apurada, foram selecionados e analisados trinta estudos que tratavam de Intervenção Breve, Enfermeiro e Dependente Químico.Destes estudos, resultaram dois manuscritos: (1) A redução do consumo de álcool por meio da Intervenção Breve:uma revisão integrativa e (2) A Intervenção Breve ao dependente químico de álcool pelo enfermeiro: uma revisão integrativa. Essa técnica motivacional propõe uma interação breve com o usuário cujo objetivo é diminuir o consumo abusivo de bebidas alcoólicas de forma rápida e com baixos custos. A pesquisa descreve as estratégias de utilização desta ferramenta. A aplicação dos formulários de Intervenção Breve: SBIRT, AUDIT e AUDIT-C. A Intervenção Breve traz uma proposta motivacional de autopercepção sobre o consumo de bebidas alcoólicas de modo prejudicial à saúde. Se evidenciam que a ferramenta terapêutica Intervenção Breve possui grande resultado positivo, quando bem implementado, sendo o maior desafio a falta de capacitação do profissional para aplicar esta estratégia, que além do conhecimento científico, a criticidade pelo profissional deve ser ausente, porém ser empático e assim criar um vínculo de confiança com as pessoas que estão naquele momento precisando de ajuda. Os estudos mostraram que o ambiente mais indicado para aplicação da técnica é a Atenção Primária e as Emergências, onde o enfermeiro faz um contato próximo com o usuário e tem preferencialmente o acolhimento a seu favor, o que facilita a construção de um vínculo. Todavia outros profissionais de saúde que se qualificam podem aplicar a Intervenção Breve.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the Brief Intervention therapeutic technique and the nurse as a protagonist in the care of alcoholics. Thus, an integrative review was conducted to identify the scenario of national and international publications in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with the objectives of evaluating Brief Intervention applied to alcoholics and evaluating Brief Intervention and the nurse's role in assisting alcoholics. The scientific literature was searched in the PubMed/Medline, SCOPUS, CINAHL, BVS, SCIELO, EMBASE and Web of Science databases from 2016 to July 2022. After a refined analysis, thirty studies were selected and analyzed that dealt with Brief Intervention, Nurse and Chemical Dependent.From these studies, two manuscripts resulted: (1) The reduction of alcohol consumption through Brief Intervention:an integrative review and (2) Brief Intervention to alcohol dependent chemical dependents by nurses: an integrative review. This motivational technique proposes a brief interaction with the user whose goal is to decrease alcohol abuse quickly and with low costs. The research describes the strategies for using this tool. The application of the Brief Intervention forms: SBIRT, AUDIT and AUDIT-C. The Brief Intervention brings a motivational proposal of self-perception about the consumption of alcoholic beverages in a way that is harmful to health. It is evidenced that the Brief Intervention therapeutic tool has great positive results, when well implemented, and the biggest challenge is the lack of training of the professional to apply this strategy. Besides scientific knowledge, the professional's criticality must be absent, but must be empathic and thus create a bond of trust with the people who are at that moment in need of help. The studies showed that the most suitable environment for the application of the technique is Primary Care and Emergencies, where the nurse has a close contact with the user and preferably has the reception in his/her favor, which facilitates the construction of a bond. However, other health professionals who are qualified can apply the Brief Intervention.
