dc.description.abstract This article presents some topics related to the production of hydrogen as renewable energy. Its main objective is to investigate the process of alkaline hydrolysis as an appropriate technology within the socioenvironmental criteria. This innovation for generation of hydrogen gas as a cogenerator of energy in a thermoelectric is a research characterized as descriptive, having as method bibliographical research. The expected results are the collection of information to evaluate the process announced through social and environmental criteria, in order to bring a technological option that purview the concepts of sustainability. pt_BR
