Diagnóstico da inserção da tecnologia wearable no setor têxtil e de vestuário em Blumenau

Abstract

Em um ambiente econômico de crescimento desenvolvido, as tecnologias existentes no mercado vêm ganhando força, principalmente aquelas que buscam proporcionar ao usuário uma melhor qualidade de vida. Por sua vez, a indústria têxtil, objeto deste estudo, é considerada um dos setores de maior relevância quando se trata de transformação e inovação. Deste modo, a tecnologia wearable, ou também conhecida como dispositivo vestível, vem crescendo e se desenvolvendo mais e mais ao passar dos anos, seja por meio de acessórios ou roupas. As aplicações são em sua maioria focadas na saúde, principalmente no monitoramento de sinais fisiológicos. Dentre as vantagens há o conforto de integrar a tecnologia ao usuário e os benefícios que compensam, mas, em contrapartida, ainda é preciso explorar as barreiras quanto à durabilidade desses dispositivos para torná-los sustentáveis. Deste modo, o presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar a inserção da tecnologia wearable no setor têxtil e de vestuário em Blumenau, realizando uma revisão sistemática de literatura sobre wearable e identificando quais são as empresas têxteis que utilizam esta tecnologia na região. Para tanto, foi desenvolvido um questionário com o intuito de conhecer a situação e o desejo das empresas referentes à implantação da tecnologia em questão. Por fim, como resultado buscou-se apresentar os conceitos e evolução do tema, países referenciados em publicações sobre a tecnologia e como é abordado wearable em documentos nacionais, além de trazer as respostas obtidas através do questionário divulgado. Além disso, foram encontrados indicadores utilizados para medir o desempenho dos dispositivos vestiveis, como eficiência e fator de potência e por fim, foi realizada a proposta de um indicador com base nas características dos dispositivos.

Abstract: In an economic environment of unbridled growth, existing technologies on the market have been gaining strength, especially those that seek to provide the user a better quality of life. However, the textile industry, the subject of this study, is considered one of the most relevant sectors when it comes to transformation and innovation. Therefore, wearable technology, or also known as wearable devices, has been growing and developing more and more over the years, whether through accessories or clothing. The applications are mostly focused on health, mainly on monitoring physiological signals. Among the advantages there is the comfort of integrating the technology to the user and the benefits they provide, but, on the other hand, it is still necessary to explore the barriers regarding the durability of these devices to make them sustainable. Therefore, the present study aims to identify the insertion of wearable technology in the textile and clothing sector in Blumenau, carrying out a systematic review of literature on wearables and identifying which textile companies use this technology in the region. To this end, a questionnaire was developed with the aim of understanding the situation and desires of companies regarding the implementation of the technology in question. Finally, as a result, we sought to present the concepts and evolution of the topic, reference countries in publications about technology and how wearables are addressed in national documents, in addition to bringing the answers acquired through the published questionnaire. Furthermore, we sought to find indicators used to measure performance of wearables, such as efficiency and power factor, and lastly an indicator was proposed based on the characteristics of the devices.
