Abstract

Esse Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC) consiste em um livro-reportagem sobre a relação entre famílias e suas casas. Segundo dados da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios Contínua (Pnad Contínua), do IBGE, em 2022, dos 74,1 milhões de domicílios no país, 47,3 milhões eram imóveis próprios e já pagos. No período de 2016 a 2022, a quantidade de domicílios próprios quitados baixou, enquanto o percentual de domicílios alugados subiu. Em paralelo a isto, mais de 281,4 mil pessoas encontram-se em situação de rua, de acordo com um levantamento divulgado pelo Ipea (Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada) em dezembro de 2022. A necessidade de ter um lar é talvez um dos únicos sentimentos que atravessa todas as classes sociais. E por isso, representa um dos maiores sonhos, mas também um dos maiores desafios para os brasileiros. Dessa forma, a proposta deste material jornalístico é apresentar diferentes perspectivas da complexa interação entre sete famílias e suas casas, considerando o entorno da residência e os aspectos emocionais, culturais e físicos que a compõem. Utilizando referenciais teóricos da arquitetura, análise de dados do IBGE 2022, do Censo de Moradia QuintoAndar e pesquisa de campo. Um material relevante para estudantes, jornalistas, profissionais da arquitetura, e áreas relacionadas, bem como para todos que desejam compreender esta relação. Uma oportunidade de expandir o entendimento sobre o papel vital que as casas desempenham no ato de habitar e de promover ambientes residenciais mais saudáveis e satisfatórios.

This Final Project consists of a book report on the relationship between families and their homes. According to data from the IBGE's Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Pnad Contínua), in 2022, of the 74.1 million households in the country, 47.3 million were owned and already paid for. In the period from 2016 to 2022, the number of homes owned fell, while the percentage of rented homes rose. At the same time, more than 281,400 people are homeless, according to a survey released by Ipea (Institute for Applied Economic Research) in December 2022. The need to have a home is perhaps one of the only feelings that cuts across all social classes. And for this reason, it represents one of the biggest dreams, but also one of the biggest challenges for Brazilians. In this way, the purpose of this piece of journalistic material is to present different perspectives on the complex interaction between seven families and their homes, considering the surroundings of the residence and the emotional, cultural and physical aspects that make it up. Using theoretical references in architecture, data analysis from IBGE 2022, the QuintoAndar Housing Census and field research. Relevant material for students, journalists, professionals in architecture and related fields, as well as anyone wishing to understand this relationship. An opportunity to expand understanding of the vital role that houses play in the act of living and to promote healthier and more satisfying residential environments.
