A pauta está na arquibancada: Representações sociais das maiores torcidas organizadas de Santa Catarina na mídia local

Abstract

Esta pesquisa investiga como se constroem as representações sociais sobre o movimento de torcidas organizadas em Santa Catarina. Para isso foram analisadas matérias publicadas em dois dos principais portais de notícias estaduais, ND Mais e NSC Total, tendo as torcidas organizadas Mancha Azul (do Avaí) e Gaviões Alvinegros (do Figueirense) como principais agentes, durante o período de 2017 e 2022. O problema da pesquisa é: “Quais são as representações sociais produzidas sobre as maiores torcidas organizadas de Santa Catarina pela mídia local?”. A amostra foi submetida a dois tipos de análise: descritiva e interpretativa, combinadas ao uso da Teoria da Representação Social (TRS) enquanto operador teórico-metodológico. Em segundo plano, foram aplicadas entrevistas com lideranças de cada uma das torcidas, visando aprofundar a compreensão sobre o objeto de cada matéria analisada. Também foram entrevistados jornalistas esportivos dos veículos incluídos na amostra, na perspectiva de esclarecer como as rotinas produtivas, a relação entre aspectos objetivos e subjetivos na produção das notícias e as características do veículo podem influenciar a construção final da narrativa jornalística.

This research investigates how social representations of organized fan movements in Santa Catarina are constructed. For this purpose, articles published on two of the main state news portals were analyzed, ND Mais and NSC Total, with the organized fans Mancha Azul (from Avaí) and Gaviões Alvinegros (from Figueirense) as the main agents, during the time of 2017 to 2022. The research question is: “What social representations were produced about the biggest organized fans in Santa Catarina by the local media?”. The sample was subjected to two types of analysis: descriptive and interpretive, combined with the use of the Theory of Social Representation (SRT) as a theoretical and methodological operator. Meanwhile, interviews were carried out with leaders from each of the supporters' groups, aiming to deepen the understanding of the object of each article. Sports journalists from the vehicles included in the sample were also interviewed, to clarify how production routines, the relationship between objective and subjective aspects in the production of news, and the vehicle's own characteristics can influence the final construction of the journalistic narrative.
