Um herói do passado na era digital: análise da tradução intersemiótica da HQ para série a animada “50 Nuances de Grecs”

Abstract

Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar como mito de Teseu no labirinto do Minotauro foi adaptado para a história em quadrinhos francesa 50 Nuances de Grecs e para a série animada homônima. Para isso é realizado o estudo de tradução intersemiótica e dos conceitos de intertextualidade, adaptação e paródia (HUTCHEON, 2000; 2013) e discutida a importância do paratexto (GENETTE, 2010). O objeto de estudo é o episódio Sans fil, em que o desenhista francês Jul se apropria do mito narrado por Ovídio e Apolodoro no século I d.C. para recriá-lo como história em quadrinhos, em 2017, e levá-lo às telas como série animada em 2018. Teseu, o célebre herói ateniense, ingressa no labirinto com a tarefa de matar o Minotauro. No entanto, em vez de utilizar o fio dado por Ariadne, ele faz da tecnologia a sua aliada, o que vai mudar o seu destino.

This study aims to analyze how the myth of Theseus in the labyrinth of the Minotaur was adapted to the French comic 50 Nuances de Grecs and to the homonymous animated series. For this purpose, the study of intersemiotic translation and the concepts of intertextuality, adaptation and parody (HUTCHEON, 2000; 2013) is carried out and the importance of paratext is discussed (GENETTE, 2010). The object of study is the episode Sans fil, in which the French illustrator Jul appropriates the myth narrated by Ovid and Apolodoro in the 1st century A.D. to recreate it as a comic book in 2017, and take it to the screens as an animated series in 2018. Theseus, the celebrated Athenian hero, enters the labyrinth with the task of killing the Minotaur. However, instead of using the thread given by Ariadne, he makes technology his ally, which will change his fate.

Ce travail a pour but d’analyser comment le mythe de Thésée dans le labyrinthe du Minotaure a été adapté à la bande dessinée française 50 Nuances de Grecs et à la série animée homonyme. Pour cela, nous avons réalisé l’étude de la traduction intersémiotique et des concepts d’intertextualité, d’adaptation et de parodie (HUTCHEON, 2000; 2013) et discuté de l’importance du paratexte (GENETTE, 2010). L’objet de l’étude est l’épisode Sans fil, dans lequel le dessinateur français Jul s’approprie le mythe raconté par Ovide et Apollodore au Ier siècle après J.C. pour le recréer en bande dessinée en 2017 et le porter sur les écrans comme série animée en 2018. Thésée, le célèbre héros athénien, entre dans le labyrinthe avec la tâche de tuer le Minotaure. Cependant, au lieu d’utiliser le fil donné par Ariane, il fait de la technologie son alliée, ce qui va changer son destin.
