Abstract

Este trabalho faz uma revisão bibliográfica sobre os sistemas de retenção das próteses fixas implanto-suportadas. A recuperabilidade da restauração retida por parafuso é contraposta com a facilidade de execução, custo reduzido e estética superior da prótese cimentada. sao avaliados os aspectos biomecânicos, estéticos e de biocompatibilidade, procurando estabelecer qual a escolha mais acertada para a reabilitação protética com implantes dentários.

This work makes a bibliographical revision about the retention systems of the fixed implant-supported prostheses. The retrieveability of the screw retained restoration is compared with the facility of execution, reduced costs and better aesthetics of the cemented prostheses. There are evaluated the biomechanics, aesthetics and the biocompatibity of the screw and cement-retained prostheses, due to stable the better choice for the prosthetic rehabilitation with dental implants.
