Abstract: The commercialization of oysters at the Family Agriculture Fair (FAF) has been becoming promising for the municipality of Bragança, as well as for the producers of AGROMAR. However, more investments are needed in promoting oyster commercialization in the municipality of Bragança, P a g e | 66 aiming to address the lack of information and awareness about the activity, seeking to attract more consumers and consequently increasing demand for commercialization. It was found that there is a lack of knowledge regarding the quality, preservation, nutritional information, and the purification technique of oysters. Additionally, the water analysis prevents the evaluation of the microbiological conditions of the cultivation area and, consequently, the soft tissue of the oysters, not ensuring the food's safety for the consumer. Therefore, further studies are necessary. It is recommended to develop educational interactions through lectures, booklets, and workshops to share essential information about oysters and consumer food safety.
