Narrativas poéticas e transgressões culturais em Décimas, autobiografía en verso, de Violeta Parra

Abstract

Esta dissertação investiga a obra Décimas, autobiografía en verso de Violeta Parra a partir de uma perspectiva que entrelaça aspectos literários, históricos e culturais. O estudo objetiva evidenciar as transgressões perpetradas por Violeta, que mobiliza o sensível e propicia o debate sobre a emergência de sujeitos epistêmicos alternativos. Por meio de estratégias que se configuram como formas de resistência e dribles é possível vislumbrar um mundo pluriversal, onde múltiplas realidades coexistem. A pesquisa busca identificar, em sua obra, artimanhas que transgridem a tradição discursiva das décimas chilenas e do gênero autobiográfico, além de questionar os sistemas de poder manifestos através do código escrito. O referencial teórico apoia-se em estudos e teses investigativas sobre Violeta e suas décimas, incluindo as contribuições de Paula Miranda (2001; 2017), Susana Munnich (2004) e Iraida H. López (2010). A partir de uma abordagem crítica, propõe-se a tradução de algumas décimas, considerando a importância de preservar as características da performance oral e da cultura popular, evitando a domesticação e o apagamento desses elementos. Ademais, discute-se os desafios inerentes à tradução de termos culturais e expressões idiomáticas, buscando soluções que respeitem a integridade cultural e poética das décimas "modérnica" de Violeta Parra.

Abstract: This dissertation investigates the work Décimas, autobiografía en verso by Violeta Parra from a perspective that intertwines literary, historical, and cultural aspects. The study aims to elucidate the transgressions enacted by Violeta, who engages the sensory to foster discourse on the emergence of alternative epistemic subjects. Through strategies that serve as forms of resistance and subversion, a pluriversal world is envisioned, where multiple realities coexist. The research seeks to identify, within her work, maneuvers that challenge the discursive tradition of Chilean décimas and the autobiographical genre, while also interrogating power structures manifested through the written code. The theoretical framework is supported by studies and investigative theses on Violeta and her décimas, including contributions from Paula Miranda (2001; 2017), Susana Munnich (2004), and Iraida H. López (2010). From a critical standpoint, the dissertation proposes the translation of selected décimas, emphasizing the importance of preserving the characteristics of oral performance and popular culture, thereby avoiding the domestication and erasure of these elements. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges inherent in translating cultural terms and idiomatic expressions, seeking solutions that respect the cultural and poetic integrity of Violeta Parra's décimas "modérnicas".
