AtuAÇÃO Divina: Conexões entre Teatro e Cristandade

Abstract

O objetivo geral deste trabalho intitulado AtuAÇÃO Divina: Conexões entre Teatro e Cristandade, é explorar as conexões entre teatro e cristandade, proporcionando uma reflexão sobre as interseções entre a vida fundamentada em Jesus e o fazer teatral, e assim, enriquecer a compreensão destes dois universos aparentemente distintos. A expressão Atuação Divina é abordada sob três perspectivas: (1) uma atuação teatral de excelência e entrega, caracterizada pela técnica e maestria; (2) como as ações e comportamentos humanos mimetizam valores divinos; e (3) como a intervenção divina no processo criativo, onde Deus age sobre o ator e inspira sua arte. A escolha da palavra conexões no subtítulo não é casual, mas carrega a intenção de expressar um relacionamento dinâmico, plural, interativo e transformador entre o teatro e a cristandade. Já o termo “cristandade” foi selecionado para refletir o propósito de abordar a fé cristã não apenas como um conjunto de doutrinas, mas como uma vivência espiritual e cultural compartilhada, que se manifesta em atos de bondade, verdade, amor e justiça, tão presentes no Teatro, nos seus mais distintos conceitos. Este estudo identifica como o teatro pode incorporar e refletir valores cristãos em sua prática, tanto quanto uma vida em Cristo interpreta os dramas teatrais no palco da vida. Ademais, busca-se aprofundar e ampliar o fazer teatral no meio cristão, disseminando o amor cristão aos artistas, proporcionando aos atores um encontro com seus propósitos de vida, visando a cura e crescimento dos artistas e atores através do exercício de seus dons em um ato de cocriação.

The general objective of this work, entitled Divine Acting: Connections between Theater and Christendom is to explore the connections between theater and Christendom, providing a reflection on the intersections between a life founded in Jesus and theatrical practice, thus enriching the understanding of these two “apparently distinct” realms. The expression Divine Acting is addressed from three perspectives: (1) theatrical performance of excellence and dedication, characterized by technique and mastery; (2) how human actions and behaviors mimic divine values; and (3) divine intervention in the creative process, where God acts upon the actor and inspires their art. The choice of the word “connections” in the subtitle is intentional, expressing a dynamic, plural, interactive, and transformative relationship between theater and Christendom. The term Christendom was selected to reflect the purpose of approaching Christian faith not merely as a set of doctrines, but as a shared spiritual and cultural experience, manifested in acts of kindness, truth, love, and justice, values deeply embedded in theater’s varied concepts. This study identifies how theater can incorporate and reflect Christian values in its practice, just as a life in Christ interprets theatrical dramas on the stage of life. Furthermore, this work seeks to deepen and expand theatrical practice within the Christian sphere, disseminating Christian love to artists and offering actors a connection with their life purposes, aiming for healing and growth of artists and actors through the exercise of their gifts in an act of co-creation
