Relatório de estágio curricular supervisionado na área de neurologia de pequenos animais

Abstract

O presente relatório documenta a experiência do estágio curricular obrigatório em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, com foco em Neurologia de Pequenos Animais. Conduzido no Hospital Veterinário Universitário (HVU) da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) de 2 de setembro a 21 de novembro de 2025. As atividades, supervisionadas pelo Prof. Dr. Alexandre Mazzanti e orientadas pelo Prof. Dr. Malcon Andrei Martinez Pereira, consistiram no acompanhamento detalhado da rotina do Setor de Neurologia Veterinária, abrangendo atendimentos, cirurgias e procedimentos diagnósticos, e destacando a aplicação prática dos conhecimentos adquiridos.

This report documents the experience of the mandatory curricular internship in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, with a focus on Small Animal Neurology. Conducted at the University Veterinary Hospital (HVU) of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) from September 2 to November 21, 2025, the internship totaled 450 hours. The activities, supervised by Prof. Dr. Alexandre Mazzanti and guided by Prof. Dr. Malcon Andrei Martinez Pereira, consisted of the detailed follow-up of the routine of the Veterinary Neurology Sector, encompassing appointments, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures, and highlighting the practical application of the acquired knowledge.
