O presente de Prometeu: contribuição a uma antropologia da morte (e da vida)

Abstract

A despeito e a partir da morte das imagens na antropologia, as imagens da morte possibilitam reflexão e problematização antropológicas. A morte permeia a vida simbólica, social e historicamente. E aponta para o fim como princípio. Ser não ser, eis a questão que esta Dissertação, ancorada nos filmes Flores e E a tristeza nem pode pensar em chegar..., (des)vela. O presente de Prometeu trata-se, destarte, de uma contribuição a uma antropologia da morte (e da vida).

Despite of and from the death of the images in anthropology, the images of the death allow anthropologic reflection and investigation. Death crosses life symbolically, socially and historically. And points out to the end as the beginning. To be not to be, that is the question that this Dissertation, anchored by the films Flowers and And the sadness cannot even think of arriving#, (un)veils. The present of Prometheus is, thus, a contribution to an anthropology of death (and life).
