Biblioteca escolar e a prevenção ao bullying escolar

Abstract

Neste estudo, tem-se por objetivo descrever, de acordo com a literatura da área, o papel da biblioteca escolar na prevenção ao bullying escolar. A pesquisa realizada caracteriza-se como exploratória e bibliográfica no sentido de salientar e apontar possibilidades de atuação da biblioteca escolar na prevenção ao bullying escolar. Aborda reflexões referentes ao papel da biblioteca escolar para o desenvolvimento pedagógico, para a instituição mantenedora e para os alunos que utilizam o espaço como referência cultural e educativa. Destaca-se a importância do bibliotecário como educador e agente socializador. Conclui-se que, cabe ao bibliotecário explorar e expor seu potencial, agir em parceria com os professores e trabalhar em benefício da formação de cidadãos críticos.

In this study, we aimed to describe, according to previous researches, the role of the school library in preventing school bullying. The research is characterized as exploratory and literature in order to emphasize and point out possibilities of acting school library in preventing school bullying. Discusses reflections on the role of the school library for the pedagogical development for the supporting institution and students who use the space as a cultural and educational reference. Highlights the importance of the librarian as an educator and socializing agent. It follows that it is for the librarian to explore and expose their potential, work in partnership with teachers and work for the benefit of forming critical citizens.
