Expansão e reestruturação universitária: a experiência e os desafios do Campus Araranguá da UFSC com o REUNI

Abstract

O presente estudo buscou analisar a ação coletiva dos agricultores familiares agroecológicos e os efeitos no desenvolvimento da agroecologia no território do Alto Vale do Itajaí. Para isso, a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa, com natureza descritiva e exploratória, do tipo estudo multicasos, analisou-se a ação das organizações agroecológicas presentes no território do Alto Vale do Itajaí. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, observação não participante e análise documental junto à agricultores das organizações familiares agroecológicas e entidades promotoras da agroecologia no território. Os dados foram analisados a partir dos objetivos específicos e do referencial teórico que orientaram este estudo. Os resultados permitiram inferir que a ação coletiva dos agricultores agroecológicos algumas vezes se dá de forma espontânea e fluida, com a adoção de algumas regras de ingresso e funcionamento estabelecidas; outras vezes se dá por imposições externas, como problemas de saúde e dificuldades com as agriculturas convencionais. Os grupos apresentam elementos de reciprocidade e dispõem de alguns dispositivos de organização, como reuniões, visitas às propriedades e divisão do trabalho. No âmbito do território, as organizações estudadas contribuem para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar agroecológica e da agroecologia. Outra importante contribuição para o território é o esforço das organizações agroecológicas na realização de feiras livres nas praças desses municípios possibilitando relações diretas entre produtores e consumidores e fomentando, aos poucos, a cultura da feira no território. As organizações também realizam interações com políticas públicas e entidades do território que atuam na agricultura e desenvolvem ações para a agroecologia. As ações das organizações estudadas ensejam ainda elementos de desenvolvimento territorial e sustentável.<br>

Abstract : This study investigates the collective action of agro-ecological family farmers and the effects on the development of agro-ecology in the territory of Alto Vale do Itajaí. Based on a qualitative research with descriptive and exploratory approach, of a multicases study, the action of agro-ecological organizations was examined at the territory of Alto Vale do Itajaí. The data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, observation and document analysis of farmers from the agro-ecological family s organizations and promoting organizations of agro-ecology in the territory. The data were analyzed from the specific goals and the theoretical framework that guided this study. The results showed that the collective action of agro-ecological farmers sometimes occurs spontaneously and fluidly with the adoption of some established rules of entry and operations; other times it occurs by external impositions, such as health problems and difficulties with conventional agricultures. The groups have elements of reciprocity and some organizational devices, such as meetings, visits to properties and division of labor. Within the territory, the organizations studied contribute to the strengthening of agro-ecological family farming and agro-ecology itself. Another important contribution to the territory is the effort of agro-ecological organizations in holding the street markets of these municipalities allowing direct relations between producers and consumers and promoting gradually the "culture of fair" in the territory. The organizations also conduct interactions with public policy and planning organizations from the territory that works in agriculture and develop actions to agro-ecology. The actions of the studied organizations bring elements of territorial and sustainable development.
