Cenas de humor explícito: sacanagem nas tirinhas Waldirene a AM (1986-1990)

Abstract

A ditadura militar desponta no cenário brasileiro, em 1964, afeita a redesenhar parâmetros políticos, econômicos e morais. Desta forma, o regime que ficou marcado por sua rigidez autoritária, não visava apenas alterar a estrutura política mas, também, moldar os aspectos culturais e morais do País, à seus próprios parâmetros, alinhados com a esfera mais conservadora da sociedade brasileira. Neste sentido, uma política sexual reacionária atingiu a esfera pública brasileira mas não deixou, contudo, de consentir a ocorrência de determinado discurso sexual que esteve presente em algumas produções de entretenimento cultural, tanto durante quanto depois do marco estabelecido como final ao período. Esta pesquisa, todavia, se insere nos anos imediatamente subsequentes ao final da ditadura. Seu intuito foi de identificar e analisar que tipo de discurso sexual esteve presente no espaço público do jornal O Estado, e quais sujeitos apareciam como alvo deste, durante os anos de 1986 até 1990. Para tanto, são utilizadas como fontes as tirinhas Waldirene A AM, de autoria do cartunista Sérgio Bonson e parte do conteúdo presente no 2° Caderno do periódico. O material foi selecionado em decorrência da associação entre humor e sexo, e de estereótipos relacionados ao gênero, acionados pelo próprio discurso sexual. A categoria, sacanagem é desenvolvida neste trabalho com o intuito de responder a peculiaridade que aponto ter encontrado nesta relação entre humor e sexo ao longo do período em análise. A resposta para insurgência do discurso sexual nas tirinhas Waldirene A AM e no jornal, parece muito mais relacionada ao conservadorismo da sociedade na qual estavam inseridas, do que a pretensa trangressão que a presença da sacanagem pode vir a pressupor.

Abstract: The military dictatorship emerged in the Brazilian scenario in 1964, erring towards redesigning political, economic, and moral parameters. Therefore, the regime that was marked by its authoritarian rigidity was not only intended to change the political structure, but it was also intended to shape the cultural and moral aspects of the country, according to its own parameters, being aligned with the more conservative sphere of Brazilian society. In this regard, a reactionary sexual policy reached the Brazilian public sphere. However, it never ceased to comply with the occurrence of a certain sexual discourse that was present in some cultural entertainment productions, both during and after the period established as the end of the period. This research, however, was inserted in the years immediately after the end of the dictatorship. Its purpose was to identify and analyze what type of sexual discourse was present in the public space of the newspaper O Estado; and which subjects appeared as its target during the years 1986 to 1990. For this purpose, the sources used are the comic strips Waldirene A AM, authored by cartoonist Sérgio Bonson and part of the content present in the 2 Caderno of the periodical. The material was selected due to the association between humor and sex and stereotypes related to gender, triggered by the sexual discourse itself. The category sacanagem is developed in this work to answer the peculiarity that I point out to have found in this relationship between humor and sex throughout the period under analysis. The answer to sexual discourse insurgency in the Waldirene A AM comic strips and the newspaper seems much more related to the conservatism of the society, in which they were inserted, than to the alleged transgression that the presence of the sacanagem may come to presuppose.
