This article presents the results of a survey that aimed to analyze the perceptions and the role of leadership of the State of Santa Catarina for the dissemination of renewable energy projects in the specific case of biogas in pig farming. To meet the proposed objectives, a study was conducted on the structure of this chain, its composition, the interplay between its agents and the context in which such a chain is inserted. The procedures used for data collection consisted of a questionnaire. In the perception of leadership biogas generation helps to minimize the environmental impacts where environmental, economic, social and political aspects have earned. According to the answers of the leaders, the state's role is to establish public policies that include tax incentives, promotion and financing to farmers and research centers associated with the theme, as well as the development of projects with the private sector where they can be deployed minimal difficulties aiming at the production of biogas |
