Relatório de Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Medicina Veterinária, realizado junto à Universidade de São Paulo e ao Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Abstract

Ao final da graduação, o último semestre do curso de Medicina Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina é destinado à disciplina de Estágio Curricular Obrigatório. Este é considerado um período crucial para a formação do Médico Veterinário pois é nesse momento que o discente pode aplicar o conhecimento teórico e prático adquirido durante a graduação em situações reais e condizentes com o mercado de atuação profissional. O presente relatório apresenta a infraestrutura dos locais de estágio, assim como as atividades desenvolvidas e casuísticas relatadas pela acadêmica Amanda de Brito durante seu período de estágio, realizados no Laboratório de Pesquisa em Suínos do Departamento de Nutrição e Produção Animal da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da Universidade de São Paulo e também junto ao setor de Clínica Médica e Cirúrgica de Grandes Animais do Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

At the end of graduation, the last semester of the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina is dedicated to the Mandatory Curricular Internship. This is considered a crucial period for the formation of the Veterinary Doctor because it is at this moment that the student can apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during graduation in real situations and in line with the professional market. This report presents the infrastructure of the internship places, as well as the activities developed and the cases reported by the academic Amanda de Brito during her internship period, carried out at the Swine Research Laboratory of the Department of Nutrition and Animal Production of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo and also with the Large Animal Medical and Surgical Clinic at the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Uberlândia.
