Sustentabilidade e a Vida na Cidade: A Condição de Bem – Estar aplicada a projetos de requalificação de transporte público.

Abstract

O projeto sustentável para a cidade é um tema complexo que tem sido muito discutido nos últimos anos frente à escassez dos recursos naturais. Dos vários eixos temáticos que compõe esta discussão foi adotado como enfoque o estudo da Urbanidade em Eixos estruturais de transporte público que faz parte integrante da pesquisa de mestrado intitulado Urbanidade em Cidades Médias: O Caso do Corredor Estrutural Leste de Transporte Público em Uberlândia – Mg. Neste artigo é abordado o conceito de bem estar da população como iniciativa para se repensar o modo como estamos usufruindo a cidade considerando que se não for proposto um novo parâmetro de comportamento as transformações atuais encaminham para cidades insustentáveis a gerações futuras. Estudar e propor novas soluções a vida urbana é a garantia de que as próximas gerações usufruam de cidades vivas.

The sustainable project for the city is a complex theme that has been much discussed in recent years in the face of the scarcity of natural resources. Of the several thematic axes that compose this discussion was adopted as focus the study of Urbanity in Structural Axes of public transport that is an integral part of the masters research titled Urbanity in Medium Cities: The Case of the East Structural Corridor of Public Transport in Uberlândia - Mg. In this article, the concept of the well being of the population is approached as an initiative to rethink the way we are enjoying the city considering that if a new parameter of behavior is not proposed, the current transformations will lead unsustainable cities to future generations. Studying and proposing new solutions to urban life is the guarantee that the next generations will enjoy living cities.
