Relatório de estágio curricular supervisionado na área de anestesiologia veterinária

Abstract

O estágio curricular obrigatório é o principal momento de contato do acadêmico com o mercado de trabalho, possibilitando a conexão teórico-prática, aprofundando seus conhecimentos e desenvolvendo senso crítico frente aos casos acompanhados. O presente relatório objetiva apresentar a rotina e atividades desenvolvidas durante o período de estágio curricular em Medicina Veterinária na área de Anestesiologia Veterinária. A primeira etapa ocorreu no Hospital Veterinário da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia - Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (FMVZ – UNESP), na cidade de Botucatu/SP, perfazendo 344 horas no período de 01 de fevereiro a 31 de março de 2023. Já a segunda etapa foi realizada no Hospital Veterinário Vital, na cidade de Imbituba/SC, perfazendo 208 horas no período de 10 de abril a 12 de maio de 2023. As atividades realizadas pela estagiária compreenderam anamnese, exame físico, auxilio na elaboração de protocolos anestésicos, preparo do paciente, monitoração e acompanhamento da recuperação anestésica, auxiliar em terapias analgésicas e sedações. A experiência com as concedentes proporcionou desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional, solucionando os diversos desafios da profissão.

The mandatory curricular internship is the main moment of contact between the academic and the job market, providing the theoretical-practical connection, deepening their knowledge and developing a critical sense in the face of the cases followed. This objective report presents the routine and activities developed during the curricular internship period in Veterinary Medicine in the area of Veterinary Anesthesiology. The first stage took place at the Veterinary Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science - Paulista State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FMVZ - Unesp), in the city of Botucatu/SP, totaling 344 hours in the period from February 1st to March 31st. 2023. The second stage was carried out at the Vital Veterinary Hospital, in the city of Imbituba/SC, totaling 208 hours in the period from April 10 to May 12, 2023. The activities carried out by the intern included anamnesis, physical examination, assistance in development of anesthetic protocols, patient preparation, monitoring of anesthetic recovery, assisting in analgesic therapies and sedation. The experience with the internships provided personal and professional development, solving the various challenges of the profession.
