Perspectivas sobre os comuns: uma análise teórica

Abstract

Este trabalho constitui-se como resultado de uma pesquisa de Mestrado em Sociologia e Ciência Política com ênfase nos estudos sobre ciência, sociedade e meio ambiente, na qual busca-se investigar as dinâmicas de emergência, consolidação e disputa pelo conceito de \"Comuns\" no debate científico. O objetivo é compreender como diferentes perspectivas teóricas configuram o campo de estudos dos Comuns e contribuem à relevância desta temática para o debate socioambiental contemporâneo. Trata-se de uma pesquisa básica que busca visibilizar a complexidade e heterogeneidade do tema, destacando sua importância na formulação de respostas aos desafios ambientais. A metodologia qualitativa empregada envolve uma revisão de literatura abrangente, analisando as contribuições de autores como Garrett Hardin, Elinor Ostrom, Pierre Dardot, Christian Laval, Michael Hardt, Antonio Negri, Silvia Federici, David Bollier e Jean-Pierre Leroy, com o uso de dados biográficos e bibliográficos. As ideias de Pierre Bourdieu e Roger Chartier orientam a análise, permitindo uma compreensão interconectada das contribuições teóricas destes agentes em relação ao contexto político, econômico e cultural da produção científica. As conclusões indicam o papel central das políticas neoliberais e das transformações no discurso ecológico na formação do campo dos Comuns, ressaltando a importância de Hardin e Ostrom no desenvolvimento do debate. O conceito de Comuns emerge como um significante crucial, especialmente em questões ambientais e sociopolíticas, cuja complexidade e diversificação interna enriquecem seu potencial teórico e prático, ao considerar as posições dos diferentes atores envolvidos neste debate. A pesquisa contribui para uma compreensão mais profunda destes estudos, com implicações que podem influenciar pesquisas e práticas no campo das políticas públicas e das práticas sustentáveis.

Abstract: This work is the result of a Master's degree in Sociology and Political Science research with an emphasis on studies on science, society and the environment, which seeks to investigate the dynamics of emergence, consolidation and dispute over the concept of \"Commons\" in the scientific debate. The objective is to understand how different theoretical perspectives configure the field of studies of the Commons and contribute to the relevance of this theme for the contemporary socio-environmental debate. This is basic research that seeks to make visible the complexity and heterogeneity of the theme, highlighting its importance in formulating responses to environmental challenges. The qualitative methodology employed involves a comprehensive literature review, analyzing the contributions of authors such as Garrett Hardin, Elinor Ostrom, Pierre Dardot, Christian Laval, Michael Hardt, Antonio Negri, Silvia Federici, David Bollier and Jean-Pierre Leroy, using biographical and bibliographical data. The ideas of Pierre Bourdieu and Roger Chartier guide the analysis, allowing an interconnected understanding of the theoretical contributions of these agents in relation to the political, economic and cultural context of scientific production. The conclusions indicate the central role of neoliberal policies and transformations in ecological discourse in the formation of the field of the Commons, highlighting the importance of Hardin and Ostrom in the development of the debate. The concept of the Commons emerges as a crucial signifier, especially in environmental and sociopolitical issues, whose complexity and internal diversification enrich its theoretical and practical potential, when considering the positions of the different actors involved in this debate. The research contributes to a deeper understanding of these studies, with implications that can influence research and practices in the field of public policies and sustainable practices.
