Recebendo Artaud

Abstract

O presente trabalho elabora um mapeamento da recepção de Antonin Artaud (1896-1948) através dos periódicos literários e culturais indexados pelo Projeto Poéticas Contemporâneas na base de dados do Núcleo de Estudos Literários & Culturais (NELIC), com o objetivo de obter uma amostragem de como a obra de Artaud foi recebida no Brasil, na segunda metade do século XX, contando com um posterior recorte dos suplementos literários de maior circulação: Letras, Mais! e Folhetim, do jornal Folha de S. Paulo, com a finalidade de abordar mais detalhadamente os artigos mais veiculados em que Artaud aparece não só citado, mas como tema; para tal foi necessário apresentar os livros existentes de e sobre Artaud, os dados de sua obra-vida e alguma reflexão sobre a leitura que aqui se fez de Artaud.

This work maps the reception of Antonin Artaud (1896-1948) through the literary and cultural periodicals indexed by the Poéticas Contemporâneas project in the Núcleo de Estudos Literários & Culturais (NELIC) database, with the aim of obtaining a sample of how Artaud's work was received in Brazil in the second half of the 20th century, with a later selection of the most widely circulated literary supplements: Letras, Mais! and Folhetim, from the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, with the aim of looking in more detail at the most circulated articles in which Artaud appears not only quoted, but as a subject; to do this, it was necessary to present the existing books by and about Artaud, data on his life-work and some reflection on the reading of Artaud that has been done here.
